Sacramento native, Cameron Matlock, is the Executive Director of the Ok U Foundation. Cameron and Amobi met as children playing club soccer and developed a lifelong friendship over their shared passion for growing diversity in soccer and giving back to the city that raised them.
After playing collegiate soccer, Cameron continued his love of the game through coaching competitive youth soccer in Sacramento. Following a lineage of community mentors, Cameron pursued youth mentorship and is now leading all programs for the Ok U Go Foundation.
First generation Nigerian-American, Amobi Okugo, spent 12 years playing professional soccer before leaving the game to pursue his business and philanthropic endeavors. Okugo is recognized as an entrepreneur and philanthropist who was named to the Forbes 30 under 30 Class of 2021. He is the founder of A Frugal Athlete and the OK U Go Foundation.
Born and raised in Sacramento, CA as the son of immigrants, Amobi learned the value of harSummer Soccer Seriesd work and dedication, and is passionate about giving back to the community that helped develop him. Amobi is dedicated to serving and supporting those whose circumstances prevent them from accessing the resources they need to develop and succeed.
